"Of the office of the consul Flavius Valerius, Aurelius Pinutios,
eight in number, in the best hand of the [senator] of Hermopolis,
of the law of Flavius Taurinus,
to Plousammōn, the deputy of the number of Mauros, greetings.
I have to report to you and to owe you a capital of gold coins,
the despotic tokens, a stable amount of eight.
Half of which shall be given to you, if you choose,
in regard to the profit of each coin per year, one artab of grain,
calculated from the current month of Choiak of the present indiction,
until the payment of the entire capital being whole and secure,
which I will also give to you along with the profit,
arising from the transaction from me and from all my possessions,
as it is just. The letter is authoritative, which I also issued to you for your safety.
Aurelius Pinutios, the one in question, has eight and a half gold coins,
and I will give it to you along with the profit as stated.
Aurelius Gennadios, son of Dionysios, having been honored, wrote on his behalf,
being present and letters not knowing."
"Written by me, Phoibammōn."
