This document appears to be a financial agreement or record involving a loan from Apollonius to Ammonius, detailing the terms of repayment, including interest and collateral. It specifies the amount of the loan, the interest rate, and the conditions under which the loan must be repaid, including the provision of goods (in this case, milk) as part of the repayment. The document also mentions the involvement of Caesar and the specific month of repayment.

To Protarchos from Apollonios son of Herakleides and from Ammonios son of Anoubion, Persian by descent, concerning the matters in dispute: Ammonios acknowledges that he has received from Apollonios a loan by hand from the Ptolemaic treasury of sixty-four drachmas, interest-free, which he promises to repay within three months from the sixth day of the current month Pharmouthi in the 17th year of Caesar. He undertakes to deliver compulsorily each day for the three months one jar of cow's milk of good quality, measuring eighteen kotylai, without missing a single day. Apollonios will credit the price of the jar at four obols each day against the aforementioned principal until the loan is fully repaid. If Ammonios fails to deliver the daily supply of milk on any day, he will immediately become liable to legal action and will be compelled to repay the entire principal or the amount owed plus half again (150%), without waiting for the allotted time. After the expiration of the agreed period, interest will accrue according to the established rate of two drachmas per mina, and Apollonios will have the right to recover this from Ammonios himself and from all his possessions, as if by legal judgment, without any legal impediment or protection from any documents he might produce. This loan is separate from another debt of one hundred drachmas that the same Ammonios owes together with his mother to Apollonios under a different agreement, for which the interest has been paid up to the aforementioned month Pharmouthi of the 17th year of Caesar, Pharmouthi 5.
