It is decreed that no one among the laws of Memphis shall bring fire or any other thing down into the lower country, nor shall anyone bring it up into Thebes, under penalty of being liable to death if caught.
And let the one wishing to report concerning those who do these things inform the strategists according to the law, in which case he will be punished.
Of the property of the one who is to be seized, one third shall be taken; but if he is a slave, he shall be free and shall receive one sixth.
