Demitrius
In the year of the month of Apellaios, on the second day and the twentieth in the city of Herakleia, concerning Memphin.
Demitrius, the Olynthian of the horsemen, acknowledges the favor of Philoxenos, the Macedonian, regarding the event that occurred through the equestrian accounting office, to which he has been granted from his lot concerning one aroura, whose boundary is to the south towards the north.
Of the eighth rope, the parts of the sunlit rope, which is used by Philoxenos for drawing water into the care of the vineyard and the trees that are in the designated lot.
And it is to be established that Philoxenos and his descendants shall have the right to the entire time, for which Philoxenos has made provisions for him regarding the crowns and other royal properties, and that neither Demetrios nor anyone else on his behalf shall be able to claim against Philoxenos or those associated with him regarding the designated aroura or part, but shall ensure that he shall have all guarantees and provide it clean from all royal and private debts and all inscriptions from the previous years until the years of the transfer, and from other grants for all time.
And Demetrios himself shall use the well dug by Philoxenos for drawing water at all times without danger. If Demetrios or another on his behalf should come against Philoxenos or those associated with him regarding these matters as written, let the agreed matters be valid, and let the incoming expense be void and let Demetrios or the one coming on his behalf against Philoxenos be liable for the Ptolemaic silver coinage of two hundred drachmas and the damage and to the royal ones, let the actions be as they were agreed upon.
Demitrius, the Olynthian of the horsemen, favors the event concerning Philoxenos regarding the transfer, of which I have granted from my vineyard, whose boundary and proximity are established and are used for the adjacent canal.
For which he has used for both the crowns and the other royal properties, and let it be established as it has been recorded.
