In the tenth year, on the second day of the month of Dios, on the thirtieth in the city of Heracleopolis, we swear by King Ptolemy and Queen Cleopatra and Tryphaena, the gods Philopator and Philadelphus, and the goddess Philometor and the god Soter and the goddess Euergetis and the god Euergetes and the god New Philopator and the god Eupator and the gods Epiphanes and the gods Philopators and the gods Euergetas and the gods Brothers and the gods Soteres and Sarapis and Isis and all the other gods [all] and all
Chairemon, son of Heracleides, Macedonian, of the inhabitants of the cavalry, and the son of Heracleides, Macedonian, the heir of the paternal estate to Apollonius Euboulos, of the Macedonian inhabitants of the cavalry, to remain and to do for you and for those with you all that pertains to the agreement which we have made with you through the same agoranomos along with this handwriting, in which we declare that we, Chairemon, the existing one concerning the station of places, wish in the transfer, and the other to agree with the concession and all that (*) is indicated through the writing, and not to write anything in addition (*) nor to do anything poorly of those through the writing (*) or of those written in this handwriting (*) nor to write any judgment or lawsuit against us or against those with you for any magistrate nor against a court concerning anything simply in the places. But if we transgress anything of those through the writing or of those written in this handwriting, let the concession be valid and let the act be valid for you and for those with you of those concerning us, (*) let us follow the writing, and we ourselves shall be liable to the oath whenever we are held accountable (*).
