Lucius Caecilius Secundus, a knight of the Paullini cavalry, of the Dicaci troop, acknowledges that he owes you two hundred drachmas, both Augustan and Ptolemaic, which I will pay to you at the next stipend and their interest in monthly installments in drachmas, three asses, without any dispute, in addition to other Augustan and Ptolemaic drachmas, four hundred, for the pledge of a silver helmet and insignia, a silver scabbard for a sword, placed under an ebony base, executed in Alexandria, in Egypt, on the 8th day before the Kalends of September, in the year of Tiberius Caesar Augustus.
