ἐν τῇ προκειμένῃ κώ[μῃ Ἀφρο-]δειτοπόλει κοινὸν καὶ ἀδιαίρετον πρὸς ἐ[μὲ κατὰ] τὸ λοιπὸν ἥμισυ μέρος τῶν προκειμένων τε[ι-]μῆς
ἀργυρίου δραχμῶν τετρακοσίων μὴ διακε[ι-]μένων < > τὸ τὴν παράθεσιν γενέσθαι ἀκολούθως τῷ ἐπισταλέντι ἐπὶ σφραγισμῶν χρηματισμῷ. τ[ὴν] δὲ παράθεσιν ποιοῦμαι μηδενὸς προκατεσχημένου δημοσίῳ ἢ [ἰ]διωτικῷ τινι λόγῳ διὰ τοῦ βιβλιοφυλ(ακείου)· εἰ δὲ φανείη ἑτέρῳ προσῆκον ἢ προκατεσχημένον, μὴ ἔσεσθ[αι] ἐμπόδιον ἐκ τῆσδε τῆς παραθέσεως.

"And in the aforementioned village of Aphrodeitopolis, a common and indivisible half share of the aforementioned property shall be mine henceforth. Four hundred silver drachmas, not being divided, shall be set aside for the purpose of the deposit according to the order given for the sealing of transactions. I make the deposit with no one having previously claimed it, whether public or private, through the library. If it should appear to another as belonging or previously claimed, it shall not be an obstacle from this deposit."
