Translation into English

We have released [them] to go to the East, having given them a deadline of months from today, which is the 12th of the month of Pauni in the 12th indiction.
Therefore, whoever meets them from the ministers of the Amiralmunin of those who go to the East and Egypt after the deadline given to them by us, let them be seized and returned to their own.
Each of them shall be required to pay three coins. For thus we have established that they should give and to make it clear with the present seal we have used both Arabic and Greek letters, placing in it also our customary decree.
It was written in the month of Pauni in the 12th indiction.

English Translation

"[We] have permitted [them] to depart to the East,
having granted them a period of [several] months
from this present day, which is the 5th of the month Pauni, of the twelfth indiction.
Whoever, therefore, among the officials of the Amir al-Mu'minin who are in the East and Egypt,
encounters them after the period granted to them by us,
let him detain them and send them back to their own [place],
and let him exact from each of them three nomismata (gold coins).
For thus we have decreed that they should pay,
and for clarity we have used this present sealed document,
written both in Arabic and Greek letters, affixing to it also our customary seal.
Written on the 5th of the month Pauni, of the twelfth indiction."
