In the fourth year and the twentieth of the Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Commodus Antoninus Augustus of the Armenian Mede, the Parthian Sarmatian Germanicus, the greatest of the West, in Ptolemaïs Euergetis of the Arsinoite nome; it is attested by Harpocration, son of Demetrius, of Heron, from the metropolis, being registered at the crossroads of Phremis as being twenty years old, with the right ankle of Isidorus son of Epagathus.
As for eight years, with the right eye of the ankle, with the lord of the same father and mother, her brother Theon, as being forty years old, without a mark; the one who acknowledges Harpocration, from Isidora, immediately through the hand of silver, eight hundred drachmas, a deposit free from all danger and unaccountable from all reckoning, which she will also return to her whenever she chooses, without any further claim or judgment or deliberation, being made to her from the act of Harpocration and from those who are in his possession, just as from justice.
You write that Harpocration does not know the letters of Didymus son of Heron, as being thirty-six years old, without a mark, and of Isidora and of the lord likewise illiterate, of Ptolemaïs Didda, as (being) forty years old, without a mark.
Harpocration son of Demetrius, I acknowledge that I have from Isidora the eight hundred drachmas of the deposit and I will return them whenever she chooses, unconditionally as it is stated; Didymus son of Heron wrote on behalf of him, illiterate. Isidora daughter of Epagathus with the lord of her brother Theon; the deposit has come to me as it is stated; Ptolemaïs Didda wrote on behalf of them, illiterates.
