τοῦ οἴνου τῶν Θυβέων
γράφων̣ Φοιβά-
αὐτὰ ἐκ τοῦ αὐτοῦ σφραγιστῖρως
ὥταν δὶ ἂν κελεύεις ἀπὸ̣ καὶ τὼν θεὼν τὼν βωειθοῦντά σε ὥτι εὐκερήαν εὑρὼν̣ Θ̣υ̣βῶν κα̣ὶ̣ οὐ̣κ ἔχω ἄρτη ε̣ἰ̣[ς] τ̣ὰς χῆράς μου. πέμψων μου̣ ἑπτὰ κεράτια τῶν κούφων καὶ πάλην δοῦλών σου, δέσ]π̣οτα. μὰ τὼν ἅγιων Ἰερεμίαν, τὼν κύρην σου, εἰ εἶχων εἰς τὰς χῆράς μου οὐκ ἐτώλμων καὶ ἔλεγών σου δι’ αὐτά, δέσποτα.

"Concerning my [request] about the wine of the Thebans, writing from Phoebus, I send these from the same seal, whenever you command from the gods who assist you, that I may find an opportunity in Thebes and I do not have [anything] to offer to my widows. I send to you seven horns of the empty vessels and again the servant of yours, O master. By the holy Jeremiah, your lord, if I had [something] to offer to my widows, I would not have been bold and speaking to you through these, O master."
