I confess willingly and voluntarily swearing by God the Almighty and the divine piety of the glorious summit to guarantee and accept the monastery and the manifestation of the system of the merchants of the city of Heracles, remaining and serving the abundance of the city and the noble side according to the command of the most magnificent lord at all times of the accounting of the aforementioned house and not at all being left behind, if these should be left behind and seeking not to bring forth and deliver in the public place of this city outside of the holy precincts and divine characters and any other kind.

English Translation

(To the city, greetings.) I willingly and voluntarily swear by Almighty God and by the divine piety of the victorious summit, to guarantee and undertake responsibility for the monastery and the manifestation (appearance?), the guild of merchants of the city of Heraclea, that they remain and serve the abundance of the city and the archontic side-street (?), according to the command of the most magnificent archon, for the entire duration of the accounting of the aforementioned house, and that they shall by no means be left behind. But if these persons should be left behind and sought after, I shall not conceal them, but [shall deliver them] in a public place of this city [outside the sacred precincts and divine inscriptions and] every [other kind of sacred place].
