In the city of Oxyrhynchus of Thebes, with good fortune, Heracles Sarapatos, son of Gaius, has arranged these things according to his thoughts and intentions. May it be well with me while I am healthy. If I should die, I leave this testament. If I live, but if not, to the descendants of this man, according to the division, Sarapatos shall receive the first part, and Petsoarapis the third part of the house, the courtyard, and the shrine, and whatever else I may leave behind, all in whatever manner. After my death, the same sons of Sarapas and Petsoarapis shall give to their brother Zoilus, whom I appoint, twenty silver drachmas. I leave nothing to any other of my possessions. This testament is valid. Heracles Sarapatos, son of Gaius, has made this testament for my heirs, Sarapatis according to the division, and Petsoarapis according to the third part of the house, the courtyard, and the shrine, and whatever else I may leave behind, all in whatever manner, after my death, the same sons of Sarapas and Petsoarapis shall give to their brother Zoilus, whom I appoint, twenty silver drachmas as stated. I am of the age of... and my seal is that of Sarapidos. I have written this from the same city on his behalf without his knowledge.
