In the reign of the kings Arsaces, the Benefactor, the Just, Epiphanes, and Philhellene, and of the queens, both of Siakos, his sister and wife, and of Aryazates, who is called Automata, of the great king Tigranes and his wife, and of Azates, his sister and wife, in the year 6 of the month of Apellaios in the district of Baiseroi, at the station of Baithabartoi, in the village of Koppane, in the presence of the undersigned witnesses. Barak and Sobene, the sons of Maiforrus, acknowledged and wrote that they had received from Gathakos, the son of Oipatos, thirty silver drachmas, the value of the vineyard situated in the village of Koppane, which is called Dadbakarnas, the part belonging to him, along with water and fruitful and barren trees, and entrance and exit, and to all those who share in it. Let one part belong to Barak and one part to Gathakos, on which the designated Gathakos will have the silver vineyard for all time, both he and his descendants, paying annually the amounts written in the old record in full. And let it not be permitted to Barak nor to his brother nor to their descendants nor to anyone else to take Gathakos out of the silver vineyard, neither him nor his descendants. Whoever shall take him or another being taken, if he does not stand firm and does not make it pure, shall be invalid and shall repay what he has received, double the value and other honorable drachmas to the king the same. If Gathakos neglects the vineyard and does not cultivate it, let him repay the same value. And the water shall be provided for him for eight days, half during the day and half during the night. Witnesses: Chostroes, Orkadatos, Apakos, Hystobogos, Meiridates, Ochoabagos.
