If you need bronze, write to me and I will send it to you after I find a safe man. I wish you to be strong with your horse.

English Translation

and continual good health along with your unharmed horse.
I have sent you through Quintus the veterinarian
the "andromacha" (a medicinal preparation) and the roasted wild bird,
since there is no meat being sold. If you need money (copper coins),
write to me and I will send it to you
by means of whichever trustworthy person I find.
I pray that you remain well along with your unharmed horse.

Notes on Apparatus Criticus (English)

Line 3: "ϊπποιατρου" (veterinarian) is the reading of the papyrus.
Line 4: "ὄρνειθαν" should be corrected to "ὄρνιθαν" (bird).
Line 4: "ὑλήαν" should be corrected to "ὑλαίαν" (wild, from the forest).
