πρὸ μὲν πάντων εὔχομαι τῷ κυρίῳ

ἀπέστιλά σοὶ δὲ τοὺς διαφέροντάς μοι
τεχνίτας πρὸς τὴν ἐκκοπὴν
τῶν ξύλων εἵνα δυνασθῶσιν
τὰ ἔργα τῆς Βιξιλατίωνος ἐκτελέσαι.
γράφω σοι δὲ βοηθίαν παρασχιναι
αὐτοῖς πρὸς τὴν ἐκκοπὴν τῶν ξύλων
καὶ μή τινας ἐπιτρέψῃς βίαν
αὐτοῖς ποιεῖν ἀλλὰ μετὰ πάσης τιμῆς
καὶ εὐταξίας, μάλιστα δὲ προσχαριζόμενος
ἐμοὶ τὰ μέγιστα, καὶ ἀντιγράψοι
περὶ ὧν βούλῃ. τὸ πιτ’τάκιον ὃ ἔδοκας
νίτρου μοδίους δεκαπέντε καὶ καπαρίων
ὁσονδήποτε ἐποίησας εἰς πιτ’τάκιον ἀπόστιλόν
μοι αὐτὰ ἐν τάχει.
