In the twelfth year of King Ptolemy, during the priesthood of Leontiskos of Callimedes, in the month of Peritios, in the law of Pitho of Memphis, Dionysios son of Apollonios of Gaza lent to Isidoros of Thrace, of the Lycofron family, forty silver drachmas, which is the price of the royal grain, at an interest of two drachmas for each mina per month. Isidoros shall repay the loan to Dionysios in the month of Artemisios in the thirteenth year and the interest. If he does not repay within the written time, he shall pay back the loan with half a mina, and the action shall be taken by Dionysios from the possessions of Isidoros and those of the guarantor, in whatever manner Dionysios wishes regarding the royal matters. Isidoros is the guarantor of the loan and of all that is in the writing for the repayment to Dionysios, Demetrios son of Damos of Thrace, a member of the council. This writing shall be valid wherever Dionysios may bring it or to whomever Dionysios may hand it over. Witnesses: Teripis of Thrace, forty drachmas; Hebryzelmis of Thrace, forty drachmas; Poseidonios of Thrace, seventy drachmas; Bithys of Thrace, twelve drachmas; Dionysios of Thrace, sixty drachmas; Zipyros Bithyos of Thrace, a member of the council; these are of the Lycofron family.
