Cleitorius wrote that Petos the shepherd has returned, having left the priestly duties.
He had for us priestly duties and offerings, and he owed us offerings to the temple.
Therefore, you would do well to make an effort to inquire where the man has returned,
so that such priestly duties do not fall upon us, and those nearby who are related to him,
so that either they may be seized or guaranteed until justice is done for us.
We have also taken care of the priestly duties that you sent to us.

English Translation

Artemidoros to Zenon, greetings. If you are well, it would be good; I myself am also well.
Kleitorios wrote that Petos, the swineherd, has withdrawn, leaving behind sacrificial animals
and young pigs. He had for us sacrificial animals, fully grown and suitable, and he owed young pigs for the tribute.
Therefore, you would do well to make haste to find out where the man has gone,
so that we do not lose so many sacrificial animals. Also, (find) the guarantors who guaranteed him,
so that either they may be arrested and brought in, or they may provide surety until justice is done for us.
We have also received the sacrificial animal you sent us.
