To Dioscurides, the commander of the guard, from Ammonius the Nicene, of the soldiers assigned to you. Since you have been appointed more than once to Ptolemaios the servant, to present to me the duties monthly from the full amount, and since he does not endure this, but only I have received it in the year of the purchase and the grain of bronze, I request, if it seems appropriate, to call him and compel him to pay me the amount owed and to arrange to return to me from the full amount as is customary.
