(trihemolias) (miserator) (talenta) (artabas) (talenta)
To Dioscurides of the governors and the commander, from Heracleides, the governor of the outside ranks and the secretary of the Nicada of the trihemolias (miserator). Since those in the Magaeio are writing down Antipater, the appointed secretary of the naval assembly, having been brought forth to the men on the aforementioned ship instead of those duties concerning the matters from Phamenoth of the year until Mesore of the same year of copper (talents) and of Euns and of fire (artabas) and Heliodorus, who has received the assembly likewise of the 26th and 27th (year) (talents) of the 27th, apart from those of the year, and the governor having been sent many times, Antipater with those who are restoring was in no way brought into their hands, but now both are found here, I ask you to arrange for the taking of them safely until Dionysius, the overseer of the guards, may come so that having received them, he may send them to the governor. Good luck (year) 26 of Pharmouthi 15 of Heracleides concerning the matter of being brought forth.

To Dioskourides, one of the commanders and garrison commander,
from Herakleides, son of Hestiodoros, commander of the external division and secretary of the mercenary trihemiolia "Nikada".
Since the scribes in Magaeion have recorded that Antipatros, who was secretary of the naval division, has paid out more than was due to the men aboard the aforementioned ship, instead of the proper amounts, from Phamenoth of the 25th year until Mesore of the same year, copper talents 455 and wheat artabas 67; and similarly Heliodoros, who took over the administration for the 26th and 27th years, talents 27, 463 drachmas, apart from those of the 28th year; and although the dioiketes (financial administrator) has repeatedly sent instructions for Antipatros to appear with those who would settle the matter, he has never appeared. Now, however, since both men happen to be here, I request you to arrange to take them into custody and secure them until Dionysios, the overseer of the guards, arrives, so that he may take charge of them and send them to the dioiketes. Farewell.
Year 28, Pharmouthi 15.
(From) Herakleides, concerning the excessive payments made.
