To King Ptolemy, greetings.
From the descendants, from Ptolemais of the Arabs. I am wronged
regarding the honor of the sheep that are upon the grazing lands.
Of the honor that was granted to one another regarding the grazing lands
immediately and that he should not be lord over it without me, let the
sheep that are required be given to me.
As for the others, I therefore ask you, O king, if it seems good to you, to arrange for Diophanes, the general, to write to the overseer to inquire about these matters and, if these things are true, to connect
and send him to Diophanes for judgment, that through
you, O king, I may obtain justice.
May you be fortunate.
Most certainly dissolve them; but if not, send to us so that we may investigate.
