ἀπέσ̣τ̣ει̣λα δέ σοι γράμματα πρὸς Ὡρείωνα ἵνα σοι ἀποστείλῃ χόρτου δέσμας πεντακοσίας. καὶ πάλιν αὐτῷ τὸν ἴσον ἀποδώσεις· τὰ γὰρ ἐργατικά μου κτήνη χλωρὸν ἐσθίει. καὶ πάντως περισσότερον χλωρὸ[ν χ]όρτον ποίησον ἐνεχθῆναι ἵνα καὶ αὐτὰ τὴν [α]ὐτάρκη τροφήν ἔχῃ. πέμψον οὖν ἐπὶ τὸν χόρτον πάντως σήμερον. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχο(μαι). For we have also decided to come down to you since we are about to inspect the remaining properties and arrange those things that are with you. And take care to have all the other service, but above all a good piglet for those who are with us; but let it be good again, not as before, thin and useless. Also send to the fishermen so that they may bring us fish.
I have sent you letters to Horeion so that he may send you a bundle of five hundred of grass. And again, you will give him the same; for my working animals eat green grass. And certainly, make sure that more green grass is brought in so that they may also have their self-sufficient food. Therefore, send for the grass today. I wish you to be well. To Heronēn, the steward.
