Of the magistracy of Uibius Nepotianus and Tettius Facundus, the most illustrious, of Faophi, in the presence of Aurelius Thaesios, the syndic of Oxyrhynchus, concerning the land of mine, which has been long misappropriated, for which I endure the pious results, I have brought forth concerning the definition and delivery of this to the provincial authority and subsequently was delivered to me according to the orders given, subsequently addressed to Titou, the secretary of the province and of the land surveyor and leased to the farmers upon the province's land. These have been restrained by Paraclete and Ptolemaeus and Thaesios Gamrastus, Paraclete and Pagsi Nennophrius, all from the same village of Phobou, and having come upon the farmers with blows, they cut them down, wherefore being accused by them, I deliver the books, seeking the necessary release to be made and to have them removed from our land in order that I may be able to return the public results.
(hand 2) Aurelia Thaesios, I have delivered. Aurelius Theon, son of Theon, I have written on behalf of her not to be known letters.

In the consulship of Vibius Nepotianus and Tettius Facundus, the most illustrious, on the 28th of Phaophi.
To Flavius Hermeias, advocate of Oxyrhynchus, from Aurelia Thaesis, daughter of Proitos, residing in the village of Phoboou of the same district.
Since my land has been secretly encroached upon for a long time, for which I myself bear the pious public taxes from my own resources, I have submitted a petition concerning the delimitation and delivery of this land to the provincial authority. Accordingly, following the orders given, it was delivered to me according to the declaration of Titoes, the secretary of the district, and the surveyor, and I leased it out to farmers for the payment of its taxes.
These farmers were attacked by Parakles and Ptollas and Thaesis son of Gamrastos, Parakles, and Pagsis son of Nennophris, all from the same village of Phoboou. They assaulted the farmers and beat them severely. Therefore, accusing these individuals, I submit this petition, requesting that a proper investigation be conducted and that these persons be compelled to refrain from interfering with our land, so that I may be able to pay the public taxes.
I, Aurelia Thaesis, have submitted this petition. I, Aurelius Theon son of Theon, have written on her behalf, as she does not know letters.
