παρὰ τῶν ἀπὸ Φιλαδε[λφείας.] ὁ ἀδελφός μου λαογραφούμενος περὶ τὴν κώμην ἐτελεύτησεν τῇ δ τοῦ Χοιὰχ τοῦ ἐν- εστῶτος ἔτους Τιβερ̣ί̣ο̣υ̣ Κλαυδίου Καίσαρος Σεβαστοῦ Γερμανικο̣ῦ̣ Αὐτοκράτορος. διὸ ἀξιῶ, ἐὰν φαίνηται, συντάξαι τὸ αὐτοῦ ὄνομα περιαι- ρεθῆναι καὶ ἀνενεχθῆ- ναὶ ἐν τῇ τῶν τετελευ- [τ]ηκότων τάξει ἵνʼ ὦ [ἀ]ναίτιος, καθάπερ καί εἰμι. εὐτύχει. Translation

"From those from Philadelphia. My brother, who is writing about the village, has passed away in the year of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. Therefore, I request, if it seems appropriate, to arrange for his name to be removed and to be brought forth in the order of the deceased, so that I may be blameless, just as I am. May he be fortunate. (In the year) of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus."
