To my brother Apollonios, greetings.
I am greatly troubled about you because of the things that are said concerning the present time and that you have suddenly departed from me. I neither approach you gladly nor do I come to you with ease, but I am constantly awake, night and day, having one concern for your safety. Only the abundance of my father raises me up, and on the day of the new year, by your salvation, I would have slept soundly, if my father had not come in and compelled me. Therefore, I urge you to take care of yourself safely and do not endure the danger alone without a guard, but as the commander here imposes the burden on the rulers, so you do the same regarding my father who is present. For indeed, the name of the brother has been placed before him. If therefore, brother, you write concerning the matters to us, write to him to come to you.
