Year 42 (mδ) of Thouth in Pathyris, during the archonship of Asclepiades, the agoranomos. Thoetis, son of Kollouthos, a Persian of the descendants of Totho, lent to Pelaios (*) a Persian of the descendants of Totho and Takmēitis Patoutos, with the authority of her own husband Totho, as previously recorded and connected, a loan of 5,600 drachmas without interest for three months. This loan shall be repaid by the borrowers to Thoetis in the month of Choiak of the year 42 (mδ). If they do not repay within the specified time, they shall immediately pay a half-drachma (*) and the interest for the time overdue at the rate of two drachmas per month. They shall be guarantors to each other for the repayment (*) of all that is recorded in the loan. The action shall be against Thoetis from the borrowers and from each and every one of them and from whomever they may choose, and from all their possessions, as is proper in law.
