Year 12 of the reign of the year 13 in Mesore, 28 in Pathyris, under Hermius, the market official of Paniskos. This is the agreement which they willingly set forth among themselves, by which Nechthanoopis Patseoutos (*), a Persian, declares that he has granted to Petaersemethe, Panobchounios, and to the brothers Petesuchos (*), Phagones (*), and Psennesis (*) from the seal of the grain-producing land in the vicinity of Pathyris, in the northern part, which he purchased from Paoutos the Horus in the 13th year of his reign (*), and in the year, one and a half quarter of Egyptian aroura which he set forth through Esbouthios, an Egyptian, the monographer of the city of Crocodilopolis, to the wife of Nechthanoopis (*), instead of the previously granted in the upper seal of the aroura (*) one (*) one and a half (*) quarter (*) under our (*) authority. And let not Nechthanoopis or any other of his associates come to the Petaersemetheia and the brothers, nor any other of their associates concerning the above-mentioned granted lands. If not, let the entry of the one who approaches be invalid, and let the one who approaches pay immediately ten bronze talents and two hundred silver drachmas of the king's official currency, and let nothing less be obligatory for them to do according to the aforementioned. In the 14th year, also the 11th, on the 29th of Mesore, at Pathyris, under Hermias, assistant to Paniskos, the market supervisor.
Agreement willingly made and established among themselves, according to which Nechthanoupis, son of Patseous, a Persian, about (age) 50, acknowledges that he has ceded to Petearsemtheus, son of Panobchounis, and to his brothers Petesouchos, Phagonis, and Psennesis, from the sealed grain-bearing land in the plain around Pathyris, on the northern side, which he had purchased from Paous, son of Horos, in the 11th and 8th year, one and a half and a quarter aroura according to Egyptian sale, which he had arranged through Espnouthios, Egyptian notary of the city of Crocodilopolis, for Tnepheros, the wife of Nechthanoupis, in exchange for the land ceded above, one and a half and a quarter aroura by us; and that neither Nechthanoupis nor anyone else from his side shall make any claim against Petearsemtheus and his brothers, nor anyone else from their side concerning the above-mentioned ceded land. If anyone does otherwise, the claim shall be invalid, and the claimant shall immediately pay a penalty of ten talents of bronze and two hundred drachmas of official silver sacred to the kings, and nonetheless it shall be compulsory for them to act according to the above-written terms.
