Year 15 of the reign of the 12th (year) of Athyr in Pathyr, under Hermius, the market official under Paniskos. Horos Paoutos, a Persian of the lineage, acknowledges that he has been released from Petaarsamtheus and Petesouchos and from Psenneis and Phagōn, to the Panobchounios of Tareisios of the mother of Paoutos, the father of the aforementioned Horos, to refrain and not to call upon regarding the debt of transactions of Egyptians and Greeks which Paous, the father of Horos, has set forth, and the same Horos into the Tareisios account of his mother to the lenders Chairemon and Esthlada and Pniphios, a woman and sister; and not to approach Horos or any other of those present regarding Petaarsamtheia and his brothers or any other of those present. If not, let the entry of the one approaching be invalid, and let the one who has come forward pay immediately the honorable amount of bronze (talents) and sacred silver coins (drachmas), and let nothing less be obligatory upon them to do according to the aforementioned. This was done with the consent of the mother of these, Threiris of Paoutos, agreeing with the aforementioned. Hermias, who is under Paniskos, has written this. Horos, son of Paous, Persian of the epigone, acknowledges that he has settled with Petearsemtheus, Petesouchos, Psennesis, and Phagon, the four sons of Panobchounis, descendants of Tareesis, daughter of Patous, daughter of Paous, mother of the aforementioned father of Horos, and that he will refrain and not make any further claims concerning debts of Egyptian and Greek contracts which Paous, son of Horos, his father, had paid off, and which the same Horos had paid on behalf of Tareesis, his mother, to the creditors Chairemon, Esthladas, and Pnephis, wife and sister; and that neither Horos nor anyone else on his behalf shall proceed against Petearsemtheus and his brothers, nor against anyone else on their behalf. If anyone does otherwise, the action taken shall be invalid, and the one who proceeds shall immediately pay a penalty of five talents of copper and twenty drachmas of silver of official coinage sacred to the kings, and nonetheless it shall be compulsory for them to act according to the aforementioned terms.
This agreement is made with the concurrence of their mother Threris, daughter of Paos, who approves the aforementioned terms.
