the local chief of the island of Techthos, near Paitos of Manreus and Manreus of Paitos, of those from Techthos,
the royal farmers. Giving to us a memorandum to Ptolemy the steward concerning Petesouchus, about whom Ptolemy gave a memorandum in the record of the harvest, removing from the yield of the grain, he is placing it into the land where we farm, not being present, he wrote to you concerning us and that one. When you arrive in Techthos and having sent him,

After we submitted to Ptolemaios the steward a memorandum concerning Pete[ -ca.?- ]tios son of Petesouchos, about whom he gave to Ptolemaios a memorandum in the register of grain, subtracting from the grain-tax due from him thirty (30) artabas of wheat and adding it to the land which we cultivate, he wrote to you, in our absence, to hear both us and him. When you arrived in Techtho and summoned him, having discussed together [ -ca.?- ], dividing the sixty (60) arouras which I cultivate and [ -ca.?- ] whatever he wishes [ -ca.?- ].
