ὁμολ[ογ]ῶ κα[τὰ τοῦτ]ο χειρόγραφον ἀπέχειν π̣[αρὰ] σοῦ [διὰ] χειρὸς χ[ρῆσ]ι̣ν ἀρ[γ]υρίου κ̣[εφαλαίο]υ δ̣ρ̣αχμὰ[ς ἑκ]α̣τὸ[ν] [δέ]κα δύο (γίνονται) ριβ τόκου δραχμ[ι]αίου τῇ μνᾷ τὸν μῆνα ἕκαστον καὶ ἀποδώσω ἅπαντα μηνὶ Φαμενὼθ τοῦ ἐνεστῶτος τετάρτου ἔτους ἀνυπερθέτως γενομένης σοι τῆς πράξεως ἔκ τε ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐκ τῶν ὑπαρχόντων ἐμοὶ πάντων καθάπερ ἐκ δίκης.

English Translation

[Deios(?)] son of Herophilos, son of Deios, from the quarter of the gymnasium, to Paulinos son of [...]on, greetings.
I acknowledge by this handwritten document that I have received from you through your hand a loan of silver money, principal amounting to one hundred and twelve drachmas (112), with interest at the rate of one drachma per mina per month, and I will repay the entire amount in the month of Phamenoth of the current fourth year without fail, the repayment being enforceable against me and all my possessions as if by legal judgment.
Let this handwritten document, written in duplicate, be valid.
