"It has been read (of the year) 23 of Pachon. Of Asphē, the river guardian; of Leōnides, the shipmaster of Castor, the herald, and of Marōn. Concerning the ship's arrival at the harbor of Anchors, we have given a memorandum for us regarding the time of the ship's arrival at the city of Anchors, having sent some to the previously named ship, which has been prepared to be loaded with the cargo, the value of which is to be assessed in bronze (talents) 24. [ -ca.?- ] / [ -1-2- ] not to be burned [(?)] [ - ca.4 - ] [ - ca.25 - ] of the restoration of the spoils, and of this kind, not even until the present has it occurred that the ship is not able to set sail from the city of Anchors. We have judged that the naval supplies being offered cannot be able to set sail from the city of Anchors. [ -ca.?- ] / again to consider."

(Read in the year) 23, Pachon 14.
To Asphis, river-guard: from Leonides, shipmaster of the vessel of Kastor, and Maron.
Having given us a memorandum concerning the cargo aboard it,
regarding the fact that in the month of Pharmouthi, around the hour [ - - - ],
while the ship was anchored [at the harbor near the city of Ankyron], certain persons attacked [ - - - ]
[the aforementioned] ship [ - - - ]
and departed, taking [ - - - ]
the valuation of which amounts to 24 talents of bronze [ - - - ]
not having burned(?) [ - - - ] (totaling) 30(?) talents [ - - - ]
[restoration] of the stolen goods, but this has not yet happened up to the present time, and the ship remains anchored, ⟦unable [ - - - ] we judged⟧, as the sailors declare that it is impossible to sail out from the city of Ankyron, having been stolen [ - - - ] again [ - - - ] to take care [ - - - ].
