νομίσματος δραχμὰς χειλίας
τριᾶκοσίας, κρἀτεῖν οὖν καὶ κυριεύιν
τὸν Ἄκχωφιν τῆς προγεγραμμένης καὶ πεπραμέν[ης αὐτῷ δούλης] σὺγ
ἐκγόνοις παρ’ αὐτοῦ κ[αὶ μεταλημψομένοις κ[αὶ οἰκονομεῖν(?) περὶ αὐτῆς τρόπο

κα τῷ Ἀκχώφει τὴν δούλην Τάψαιν καὶ ἀπέσχον τὰς τῆς τιμῆς ἀργυρίου δραχμὰς
χιλί̣ας τριακοσίας καὶ βεβαιώσω ὡς πρόκειται.

In the year of the Emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Antoninus Augustus, in the month of Mesore, Damarios acknowledges that he has sold the slave named Tapsais, the daughter of Thaesios, to Akchophis, for the agreed price of three hundred silver drachmas of the coinage of the Augustus. Therefore, he will have the power and authority over Akchophis regarding the aforementioned slave, who is recorded and sold to him, and her descendants, and those who will inherit from him, and to manage her in whatever way he chooses. Damarios will confirm the sold slave from all and any confirmation of this kind, except for sacred illness and contact. Damarios, the signatory, has sold to Akchophis the slave Tapsais and has received the agreed price of one thousand three hundred silver drachmas and I will confirm as it is appropriate.
