To Heracleides, from Mesoehrus, from the village of Tebtyne, of the Persian lineage. I wish to lease from you for four years from the year of the Lord, from your possessions regarding the aforementioned village of Tebtyne, ten and three lots of land, or however many there may be, from which there are three lots of land. The first and second years of the lease shall be for sowing wheat, with a payment for the two-year period per year, along with which I will receive seeds of wheat, ten and three artabas of wheat per year, sixty-nine measures in total, for your own use. The third year, if I choose, I, the Mesoehrus, will take, except for the knuckle, and the fourth year, which is the last year, is a measure previously agreed upon, of one hundred drachmas of silver for the four-year period per year, and all of the uncountable and dangerous matters.
