Aurelius Serenus, son of Atreus, from the village of Pimbasi, to Aurelius Apollotheus, who also explained and served as a steward of the city of Euergetis, greetings.

I have sold you the existing cow of mine, a reddish-colored heifer, for the agreed price of eighty drachmas of silver, which I also received from you in full, as the confirmation continues for me; and when questioned, I acknowledged it. The transaction is valid. In the year of the Emperor Caesar Marcus Antonius, [Gordianus] Eutychus [Sebastos].

Aurelius Serenus [son of Atreus, I have sold the cow] and I have received the eighty drachmas of silver in full as agreed; and when questioned, I acknowledged it. Aurelius [wrote] on behalf of him, not knowing.

Aurelius Serenus, son of Atreus, whose mother is Tsinpetenouphis, from the village of Pimpasi, to Aurelius Apollotheos, also called Theon, who has served as exegete and eutheniarch, councillor of the city of Euergetis, greetings.
I have sold to you my cow, reddish-colored, pregnant heifer, at the price agreed upon between us, eighty silver drachmas, which I have received from you in full on the spot, with the guarantee remaining valid for me. And having been questioned, I acknowledged (this). The sale is valid. In the year of Emperor Caesar Marcus Antonius Gordianus Eutychus Augustus.

I, Aurelius Serenus, son of Atreus, have sold the cow and have received the eighty silver drachmas in full as stated above; and having been questioned, I acknowledged (this). I, Aurelius, wrote on his behalf, as he does not know letters.
