Concerning those who have been generated by him. And while I was distinguishing, as they were not paying attention, but were being influenced, in order that the grain might be destroyed in the plain because also the former farmer was sent away.

"...concerning the things done by him. And while I remained according to what he had decided, they themselves paid no attention, but were acting abusively (*), so that the grain would be destroyed in the field, because Petesis, the former farmer, had been taken away..."
(*) Note: The manuscript reads "ἐπερεαζόντων," corrected in the apparatus to "ἐπηρεαζόντων," meaning "acting abusively" or "mistreating."
