In the fifth year of the reign of the Emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian, in Tebtynis of the district of Polemon, the law of Arsinoites. Heracleides of Didyma, the younger of Herodes, acknowledges as chief steward, being thirty years old, with a certain Ulle, with two eyebrows, as being sixty years old, with a certain Dactylus of the left hand, and to this woman, Theanapygche, of Patynes, being fifty years old, with a certain Ulle, at the right knee, and to the children of both, Kronionis, being thirty-six years old, with a certain Ulle, at the right forearm, and to Taorsenouphi, being thirty-three years old, with a certain Ulle, at the right shin. The women, each with the lord of the husband, are to receive from them through hand from the house the silver drachmas, two hundred thirty-six, and the interest which they owe to the four Heracleides through the agreement of the completed use through the same office in the thirteenth year of the god Trajan, in the month of Choiak, on the eleventh day, which they also have given to them from there for abrogation and for non-collection, and that the Heracleides should not pursue them nor those with him against the four nor against each of them nor against those with them nor concerning these things nor concerning any other written or unwritten matter nor any debt or exchange until the present day in any manner. (hand 2) Heracleides of Didyma, the younger, acknowledges to be absent from Kronion of Cheos and his wife and the children, the drachmas, two hundred thirty-six, and the interest, and I will not pursue Kronion nor his wife and children.
