To Aurelius Ambeilius, the prefect of Egypt, from Aurelius Patermuthius, the pig butcher:
From the splendid and most illustrious city of Oxyrhynchus, on the day of my customary allocation of our estate, which is situated at the junction of the pastoral land, to a certain Thonius from the same city, where there are six pigs, I withdrew to my house.
And after one hour, I was informed by my neighbor Thonius that an incident had occurred at the estate, and immediately I was present with others from the same city, who came along with me and Thonius to the same estate.
And we found a young pig at the wall of the estate, and the door of the same Thonius was found sealed, opened, and the blood of one pig was lying there.

β(ενε)φ(ικιαρίῳ) = beneficiario
To Aurelius Ampelius, beneficiarius of the prefect of Egypt,
from Aurelius Patermuthius, pork-butcher,
from the splendid and most illustrious city of the Oxyrhynchites.
On the previous day, after I had secured, according to custom, our farmhouse,
located in the Poimenike quarter, neighboring a certain Thonius
from the same city, where there happened to be six pigs, I returned home.
And after one hour, it was reported to me by my neighbor Thonius
that a crime had occurred at the farmhouse. Immediately I went there
[with others] from the same city, who arrived together with me and the same Thonius,
at the same farmhouse. And we found [...] on the wall of the farmhouse,
and a female acquaintance of the same Thonius,
and the door, previously sealed, opened,
and of the six pigs, one sow [...] and blood was lying there.
