Aurelius Modestus and Olympius, the son of Patatus, of the mother of Herakleotes, from the city of Oxyrhynchus, are agents together with others of the metropolitan receipts of the district of Skos and one of the associates, Melas, son of Melanos, and Neptolianus, son of Theon, both from the same city. Modestus, who is also Olympius, has been associated with those around Melas to manage the area of the declared agency for them to create documentation and to demand the items to be presented by the royal secretary of the same agency of the receipts for the summary of the previous year and to comply with the existing distinctions and to provide aggregates due to their having been removed from the agreements made regarding both salaries and fees of papers and other expenses of silver, three hundred and fifty drachmas, through the hand of the measure of the poor and the difficult to manage, being towards the common good of the authorities. Those around Melas are willing to do these things and each item as stated above, so that Modestus, who is also Olympius, may not be disturbed regarding the area of the declared agency.
