I wish to lease from you voluntarily and of my own accord for a period of two years from the produce of the fortunate indiction, one plot of land that belongs to you, from the tax of my farmer, yielding four artabas of wheat annually, which I will deliver to you on the month of Epiphany of each year, without exception, in new clean wheat measured in Athenian measure, from the same village of Monyris, with all public dues being owed to you, the landowner.
The lease is valid, and having been asked, I have agreed.
