Translation into English

Greetings, my lord Athenodoros.

I embrace you, Alexander.

I beg you, as I have been sluggish

and have been unwell for two days,

so that I may not dine with the governors

nor be excluded,

and my child from Arsinoe has been ill

until today, with my friends not being present,

therefore I beg you to take care of the matter

so that my child may be able to come to me

with the friends. Therefore, my lord, I ask you not to leave me

to be indifferent to a stranger.
