"Those who fear God and keep the just and equitable, in the measure that they have been appointed, how much each one has contributed, and according to their power, preparing the bishop along with four other visible persons of your administration, in such a distribution, and they themselves carrying this out, we send to you a record containing what has been assigned to each of them, making known to us in it both the name and the patronymic, and according to the regions of those who have been appointed, such a loss. Let it not be known to us as if you have demanded anything at all concerning your administration for the loss that has been caused by you, or if you have gathered or have also suffered something in the totality of this distribution of such a loss. For we know that those who will distribute this will not disobey you in any permitted matter to them by you, and if we find them lightening something, or having made heavy something in opposition, we are about to give them back bodily and substantially by the command of God. Therefore, let them testify concerning this, not only that they do not take anything from the ministers beyond their power when they are far from them and do not assist them in the distribution of the said loss, but let each one keep the just as it has been said and according to their power let them take it, preparing those who distribute the mentioned loss to make a written acknowledgment in the first instance, clarifying in it as if they appear after the distribution having arranged through something beyond their power, and having lightened another so that these may equally fulfill what is remaining through the burdened person in their extraction, and they should be subject to a great recompense for disobedience and contempt of our command. And such an acknowledgment send to us along with the record of the amount assigned for the loss for each person. Written in the month of Tybi in the indiction of the year through the royal currency."
