To the Lord and our brother,
Greetings from P[a]i[th]o[us] Pen[n]is in the Lord.
First of all, I pray to the Lord God
for the well-being of all the brethren who are with us.
I especially pray that you may be in good health
and that you may prosper in all things.
I wish to remind you that it is fitting
to remember one another in the Lord Christ
for the health of each other.
By doing this, we Christians will be called in Christ.
I hold in my heart that even if we are far apart
in the faith of the ever-memorable God
and our Savior,
Amen, and may it be upon Him.
Our salvation is in Christ,
being with those who do His great work and
who have been appointed to the ministry.
I greet you and all the brethren with you by name,
and the blessed Paul greets you and the brethren with you,
and all the brethren with us greet you as well.
Your love has been evident in all things,
especially the love that has been testified to us
by Psaitos and Harpokras the fishermen,
as you have also been counted among the other loves.
By doing this, we will be called fellow Christians.
