Ἑλενία Πονπηγίωι τῶι πατρὶ πλεῖστα χαίρειν καὶ διὰ παντὸς ὑγιαίνειν. ἠγόρακά σοι τὰς ἐλέας. αἰτοῦσι πανταχόθεν εἰς τὴν εὐσέβειαν τοῦ ναοῦ Σούχου, πάντας ἀνθρώπους, καὶ Ῥωμαίους καὶ Ἀλεξανδρεῖς καὶ κατοικοῦντας ἐν τῶι Ἀρσινοΐτηι. αἰτοῦσι Πονπήιον. οὐ δεδώκαμεν ἕως σήμερον προσδεχόμενοι ὅτι ἐλεύσει. εἰ σοι φαίνεται, πέμψον. ἐὰν δὲ μή, πάλιν δίδομεν καὶ ἡμεῖς. κεκόμισμαι τὴν ἐπιστολὴν παρὰ τοῦ ὠνηλάτου. εὐχόμεθά σε ἵνα καλῶς ἔχῃς. ἵνα μὴ ἐπιλάθῃς τῶν τέκνων σου, κόμισαι ἑτέραν ἐπιστολὴν Συρίωνος τοῦ υἱοῦ σου. ἐπισκοπούμεθά σε καὶ Χαριτοῦν καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῆς. καὶ Πονπήιος ὁ μικρὸς ἐπισκοπεῖται ἡμᾶς.

Helenia to Pompeius, her father, very many greetings and continual good health. I have bought the olives for you. People from everywhere are requesting (them) for the piety towards the temple of Souchos, all sorts of people, both Romans and Alexandrians and those dwelling in the Arsinoite nome. They are asking for Pompeius. We have not given (him) up to this day, expecting that he will come. If it seems good to you, send (him). But if not, we ourselves will give again. I have received the letter from the donkey-driver. We pray that you may be well. So that you do not forget your children, receive another letter from Syrion, your son. We greet you and Charitous and her children. Little Pompeius also greets us.
