To Locchian
To Ophellian, the most powerful general
from the village of Bacchiadae, priest
still from the year 18 (of the) god Aelius Antoninus, by the command of Sempronius Libelarius,
who was governing, I was released together with other men as weak in the eyes; therefore,
the secretary of Bacchiadae and the expeller of earths below expelled me to work in the lands.

To Locceius Ophellianus, the most excellent epistrategos, from Psenamounis son of Psenamounis, grandson of Psenamounis, priest from the village of Bacchias. Furthermore, from the 18th year of the divine Aelius Antoninus, by order of Sempronius Liberalis, who was governor, I was discharged along with other men as being weak in the eyes. Therefore, the village scribe and overseer of earthworks of Bacchias unjustly forced me out to labor in the earthworks.
