Paul, son of John, from the mother Thecla, heir of Phoibammōn, son of Triadelphus, from Aphrodite. I received and was filled from you, both the tax and the sowing and the irrigation of two arouras in fertile land, and these I have allowed you to take from my part of the land of the farmer called Euthius, upon the produce with God, on the fifth indiction, the agriculture being produced from you and the time having occurred, the fruits and straw being taken from them, and I have given you this little document as it is stated. Since on the 15th of the fourth indiction of the preceding two arouras in fertile land. Paul, son of John, the one mentioned, agrees as it is stated. Aurelius Apollos, Hermauōtos, testify as it is stated. By me, Pilate the lawyer, it was written.

† I, Paul, son of John, whose mother is Thekla, landowner, acknowledge to Phoibammon, son of Triadelphos from Aphrodite, that I have received and have been fully paid by you for the tax, the seed, and the irrigation of two arouras of fertile land. And you are permitted to take these from my landed portion of the farm called Euethion, for the crop of the fifth indiction, God willing, the cultivation being done by you. And when the time comes, you shall carry away the resulting fruits and straw from them. And I have issued to you this receipt as stated above. Written on the 15th of Epeiph, in the fourth indiction, concerning the aforementioned two arouras of fertile land.
