"To Heraclides, greetings. Let us take from you the existing two years of your arable land, which is in the village of Poios, for which we are sowing ten arouras of wheat and I will give you for the tax of the wheat a private measure of seventy-five choinikes. (This amounts to) wheat measures of choinikes. And we are sowing one aroura of barley and I will give you for the tax of barley a measure of seven. The remaining seventeen arouras I will sow with barley and I will give you for the tax of silver three hundred and sixty drachmas. (This amounts to) drachmas. And in the coming year, we are sowing six arouras of wheat and I will give you for the tax of the private measure of wheat one hundred and twenty-six choinikes. (This amounts to) wheat measures. And we are sowing one aroura of barley and we will give you for the tax of barley a measure of seven. The remaining arouras I will sow for the feeding of the animals and I will give you for the tax of silver."
