Year of Caesar, by Atratetus, Marsisouchus, Marreus, the Persian of the lineage, and the woman Teferisais of the Persian, with my lord, we confess to have in the presence of Heracleus...
...from the house, the honor of the new pure fire of eight artabos...
...and we shall give back, I and the previously written...
...in the current eighth month...
...of the year of Caesar in Theadelpheia, the measure of the just tetracoinicus of the village. If we do not give back according to what has been decreed...
...we shall pay all that has been set forth with half measures; if the artaba is not...
...we shall give back, the honor of each one that is...
...according to the time, kept in the village, full; and we are bound to each other for the payment...
...as it is prescribed. It was written on behalf of them by Peter...
...Nekthnibios, having been deemed worthy because they do not know letters.

In the 38th year of Caesar,
through Hatres,
Marsisouchos, son of Marres, Persian of the epigone, and his wife Tefersais, daughter of Persines, together with me, her guardian, acknowledge that we have received from Herakleios, not from the house, the price of eight artabas of new, clean wheat and [...] artabas of new, clean wheat, which we will repay—I and the aforementioned woman—in the month [...] of the current 38th year of Caesar, at Theadelphia, according to the village's official four-choenix measure. If we do not repay according to what is written, we shall pay back all the aforementioned amounts with an additional half (50% penalty). For each artaba we fail to repay, we shall pay the highest price prevailing at the time in the village. We are mutually responsible for the repayment as stated above. Petermouthis, son of Nekthnibis, wrote on their behalf, having been requested because they do not know letters (are illiterate).
