To Ptolemaios, son of Ptolemaios, who has been gymnasiarch, and to Gemeinos, who has been gymnasiarch, and to Amatios and Paulinos, both gymnasiarchs of Patrons, from Penneitos Orsenouphios of Penneitos, from the village of Theogonida and from Syros Demetrios, from the junction of the two Macedonian farmers and of each other, we wish to lease from you for six years from the beginning of the eleventh year of Aurelius Antoninus Caesar, our lord, the existing properties, to Ptolemaios for half and to those around Gemeinos for the other half, concerning the aforementioned village of Theogonida, eight arouras of sown land in the so-called Pyrrhos lot in two plots: the first and third and fifth year for the sowing of fodder for sheep, tax for the triennium per year of the total eight arouras, sixty drachmas of silver; the second and fourth and sixth year for the sowing of wheat, tax for the triennium per year with which we will receive eight arouras of wheat, one hundred seventy arouras of all unaccounted and safe, and we will complete the annual works as appropriate for the necessary times, causing no harm, and we will pay the taxes annually in the month of Pauni with a new clean measure of six choinikes of our own, the measurement being made through our overseers, and the tax of Phamenoth, of all public properties being towards us the geōuchous, and of the annual tax of the foresters being urgent towards us, and after the time we will hand over the arouras clean from the thorns of the reed, if it seems appropriate to lease.
