To Kallistrates, strategos of the Arsinoite nome, Polemon division,
from Sabeinos also called Ninnos, son of Ptolemaios.
Since a dispute has arisen involving myself and my family,
and involving Pos and Kronion, who became administrators
of the property of the deceased Patron, son of Gemeinos,
and involving administrators and slaves of Paulinos, the coast-guard,
under Gellius Bassus, the most honorable epistrategos,
and since the matter has been referred to the most excellent prefect,
Petronius Mamertinus,
I request that through one of your attendants this notification be delivered equally
to Pos and Kronion, so that they may know that they are obligated
to appear before the most sacred tribunal of the most excellent prefect,
wherever he may hold the inquiry or judicial hearing
for the resolution of this matter.
(Hand 2) I, Herakleides, assigned by lot among the attendants, have delivered the above-written document
to the one adjudicated to me, in the presence of Sabeinos, as is proper.
Year 19 of Hadrian Caesar the lord, Mecheir 3.
