And we will complete the annual tasks, we who are hired for the agricultural works of the fields, all that is appropriate from our own in due time, causing no harm, sowing according to the year, the first half of the fields being ten parts of barley and wheat, and the remaining half in the first five years, which we may choose, and in the last year with fodder for cutting and drying and whatever they may choose from the livestock; and we will return to you the produce of the harvest in the month of Pauni, in the new clean harvest, and the tax in the month of Phamenoth, being those who are responsible for the annual contributions, and the production of the harvests to you; of the tax of the present fifth year of the lease of all unaccounted and untroubled matters; and after the time we will deliver the clean portion from all fear of the harvest; of the lease being free from all public burdens; if it appears to be leased.
Ptolemaios of Paulinos has leased to the appointed ones. Sarapion of Amathios has leased (to) the nine and a half artabas of barley and five artabas of wheat for one hundred thirty silver drachmas, as it is prescribed.

And we, the tenants of the fields, shall perform annually all agricultural tasks that are appropriate, at our own expense, at the proper times, causing no damage, sowing each year half of the ten arouras with wheat and barley, and the remaining half during the first five years with whatever crops we choose, and in the final year with grass for cutting, drying, and distribution to animals as they choose. We shall deliver to you annually the produce in the month Pauni at the threshing floor, fresh, clean, and without deceit, and the rent in the month Phamenoth, with the annual transport charges being your responsibility, as well as the conveyance of the produce to you. Regarding the rent of the current fifth year of the lease... all without dispute and without risk. After the term, we shall return the land clean from all weeds, the lease being free from all public charges, if it appears suitable to lease.
