To Gnaios Ouergelios,
to Kapiton,
from Tryphon of Dionysius of the city of the Oxyrhynchus. Syros of Syros handed over to my wife Saraeuti, the daughter of Apion, in the year 5 of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, by my bond, which is stated, from the copra, a male body, whose name is Heracles, so that she may nurse it. Therefore, the body having passed away, and the Syros having taken charge, to take my son Apion, who was born, into servitude, as I passed by the law of the general Pasios, under whom my son Apion was also restored to me according to those appointed by you, the benefactor, and those that have occurred, under the notes of Pasios. But the Syros not wishing to remain among the chosen ones, but also wanting to deprive me, being a skilled worker, may you be the savior of all the righteous. Good luck.
